Automatic Control Valves
AUTOMATIC CONTROL VALVES
Hydraulic Control Valves are used on the purpose of on/ off and regulation, utilizing the pressure of the working fluid flowing through itself as the source of actuating energy. The mechanical part acting as actuator is a diaphragm or a piston, having an effective area larger than the port of the valve. This larger actuator area difference produces bigger control forces than required to close the valve, stopping the flow to the zero-flow condition. The actuator pressure is adjusted by so called control pilots.
According to the type of actuation, the hydraulic control valves:
- Diaphragm Actuated – Diaphragm Controlled Valves ( F pattern )
- Diaphragm Actuated – Plug Controlled Valves ( Y pattern )
- Piston Actuated – Plug Controlled Valves ( G pattern )
- Diaphragm Actuated Plastic Valves ( P pattern )
Typical Applications of Control Valve Types:
- On/ off
- Pressure Reducing
- Pressure Sustaining (preserve) and Relief
- Pump Control (Automation to give and cut path)
- Surge Anticipating Control
- Solenoid Control (SCADA and Automation applications)
- Water Level Control (Modulating and Differential)
- Combinations of the above control valves (E.g. Pump Control Valve with Pressure Sustaining, Pressure Reducing Solenoid Valve)

DRF TYPE VALVES
Diaphragm Actuated – Diaphragm Controlled Valves
DRF Type valves are used in municipal and agricultural irrigation networks. Basic valve simpy consists of 3 pieces: Body, cover and the actuating diaphragm. Valve inside and outside is coated with thermoplastic Nylon11 (RILSAN). This coating enables low frictional loss, silent opera-
tion and higher corrosion and cavitation resistance compared to other coating types.
The special reinforced diaphragm of DRF induces the control valve required balancing spring force by the design and material details, eliminating the mechanical spring which uneffieciently occupies space and has an abrasive effect on rubber material. The required spring force is induced by the linear elasticity of the design details. Elimination of a mechanical spring and the related mechanical parts in the control chamber gives the actuating diaphragm very long life by eliminating the abrasion caused by metal on rubber friction. Less number of operating body parts increase reliability of the valve in long term.
The valve does not need maintenance with its diaphragm designed to sustain precise regulation is formed by three different parts.

DRY TYPE VALVES
Diaphragm Actuated – Plug Controlled Valves
DRY Type valves are used in municipal and agricultural irrigation networks. Diaphragm Actuator set is installed on the body. The balancing spring is confined in the control chamber rather than in the body compared to competitors. This eliminates the mechanical contact of spring with the working fluid and the flowing particals and unwanted pieces like cloth or algs that could obstruct the spring and the valve from operation or increase the headloss. The Actuator set can be dismantled as a whole from the body for easy servicing on site. Valve inside and outside is coated with thermoplastic Nylon11 (RILSAN). This coating enables low frictional loss, silent operation. Furthermore, increasing higher corrosion and cavitation resistance warrants safe usage.
Technologic Advantage:
The new farther curved internal walls, the inclined flow stream by the stainless steel seat design, EPDM coated Plug, the option for V-Port and cavitation/ corrosion resistant coating makes the valves life promising longest among all the competitors.

DRG TYPE VALVES
Piston Actuated – Plug Controlled Valves
DRG Type Valves are piston actuated plug controlled valves. This type of valve is used on heavy duty, high pressure and big size applications. The valve is of the highest cavitation resistance design by the pattern “G” among all other types. DRG responds to demand changes rapidly and accurately by the help of the piston actuator, which is free of fictive volume caused by the diaphragm elasticity of other G pattern valves.
Piston makes the valve most reliable by continuing its operation even at aged piston leak. DRG Type Valves with special different disc and guiding v-port form ensures high corrosion and cavitation resistance for the sizes larger than 12” (DN300). It is mainly designed for Dam Discharge Controls and Pressure Reducing Stations.

Automatic Plastic Control Valves
DKY Plastic Control Valves are diaphragm controlled automatic control valves working with existing inline pressure. It sustains desired flow under low pressure loss with its special body and diaphragm design and capable to operate smoothly under wide pressure differences. With having elastic diaphragm there is no impact during on / off the valve.
The cost is less as plastic material is used. There is no bushing, stem and seat in its body. The life is longer comparing with other valves. Diaphragm is the only moving part of the valve.

- Irrigation
- Drinking Water Lines
- Filtration Systems
- Industrial Plants
